ANP/Nurse Manager Lisa Stanway

RGN,BSc(Hons), V300 Non-Medical Prescribing, Post Graduate qualifications in Advance Practice. Qualified at Chester University in 2000.  Honours Degree in Nursing & Leadership in 2012.  Lisa has worked in Accident and Emergency, Sexual Health and GP Out of Hours.  Additional qualifications in Business and Management, Project Management (PRINCE2), Sexual Health and HIV, contraception, Clinical examination, Diagnostics and Minor illnesses.

ANP Rachael Slater

Masters Level Clinical examination and diagnosis in Healthcare attending Chester University. Masters level in Prescribing. Nursing Degree and Diploma. Rachael has worked at the Urgent Care Centre and Medical Assessment Unit within Leighton Hospital. She has experience working in NHS Direct, Respiratory wards and is a qualified baby/child swimming instructor.  She has a keen interest in DVTs, Cellulitis, and Renal colic.

Since qualifying from Manchester University with first class honours in 2016, Beth began her nursing career in the Macclesfield Accident & Emergency department.  Since joining our team Beth has taken a keen interest in wound management, cytology and asthma management.

Qualified at QE in Birmingham in 1982. Sr Miles did a Specialist Practice nurse course in 1992. and a Specialist diabetes course in 1998,. She has worked at Readesmoor Surgery since 1990 as a practice nurse.

Qualified at N.M.H in 1982. Registered Midwife in 1984, Completed Practice nurse course 1992 at North Staffs, Integrated Approaches to diabetic management in 2003, and has been at Readesmoor surgery as a practice nurse since 1992.

RGN. ENP. Nurse Advisor and Asthma Lead
Qualified as a Registered General Nurse at Macclesfield District General Hospital in 1984.She also qualified as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner at Salford University in 2002 and completed a Diploma in Asthma in 2003. She joined Readesmoor Surgery in January 2005 as Triage Nurse.

Health Care Assistants

Ann Wicks100_0116 – Nursing Assistant
Ann started her career in 1979 at Stepping Hill hospital – from there she went to the East Cheshire Hospice and the Marie Curie centre in Macclesfield.  After leaving the Hospice Ann went to work in a general Practice surgery in Macclesfield for 12 years.  She joined Readesmoor  Medical Centre in December 2015.  Her Qualifications are an NVQ3 in Care in Care & Customer Service L2 in 2003.  Ann is currently doing another Care Certificate.

Ella Blinkhorn

Ella started her career in 2012 at Macclesfield District General Hospital working throughout radiology and the Medical Assessment Unit whilst completing her NVQ level 3 Health and Social care at Macclesfield College which led her to Intermediate care.  In 2015 she completed her Access to nursing course level and joined the practice here in August 2017.  She is currently running Treatment room clinics, assisting with LARC and Minor Operation clinics and completing NHS health checks
